Welcome Statement: The SCCA strives to ensure that ALL participants in its events and activities enjoy a welcoming environment. The SCCA supports equality of opportunity and treatment for all participants, regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion or religious beliefs, age, marital status, sexual orientation, disabilities, or veteran status. SCCA will make every effort to maintain an environment that is free of harassment, discrimination, and any behavior that interferes with a safe, fun, and exciting experience. A commitment to a welcoming environment and the SCCA Values is expected of all its members and attendees, including drivers, workers, crew, guests, staff, contractors, exhibitors, and other participants at SCCA activities, sessions, and social events, and when representing the SCCA in print or electronic media.

Event Entry Standards: To ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants, any information provided during event registration or displayed on an entered car—including, but not limited to, sponsor names, car names, car designs, and graphics—that is deemed vulgar, offensive, or inconsistent with our core values will be considered a violation of the SCCA Welcoming Environment. The SCCA reserves the right to remove such information from the registration system or request that participants remove offending designs/graphics from their vehicles. Repeat offenses may result in further action. Please note that event results and images are shared online and with our partners, and we expect all entries to reflect our values of respect, excellence, and inclusivity.

TRACK INFORMATION:

TRACK INFORMATION:

1. RULES OF THE PADDOCK: The paddock is defined as the area adjacent to pit road, false grid, and tech.  These rules apply to all paved and grassed areas.  The electric power that is available around the perimeter of the paddock is to be shared by all.  DO NOT OVERLOAD THE POWER OUTLETS.  IF damaged, a $25 charge will be applied to the owners of all units plugged into the respective power pole for any damage to outlets on that pole.

2. PADDOCK VEHICLES: Use of ATVs or gasoline-powered pit vehicles is at the discretion of NCCAR and the chief steward and shall not exceed 10 MPH. These vehicles shall be operated in a safe manner and only by licensed individuals.  No fireworks, firearms, weapons, or illegal drugs are permitted anywhere on the premises.  Animals must be on a leash at all times.  Failure to abide by these rules may result in immediate expulsion from the event premises by track management or the organizing region and/or a permanent ban from the track.

3. SOUND CONTROL: A sound limit of 103 db is in effect for everyone's ears.

4. QUIET HOURS: No race engines may be run between 9:00 pm and 7:30 am each day..

5. FACILITIES:  NCCAR is an SCCA-approved 2-mile road course.

a) Water, air, and electricity are available in the paddock.

b) Free RV electrical hook-ups are available around the perimeter of the paddock.  Please be respectful and share with your other competitors

c) Bathrooms and showers are available in the Bath building in the woods between the paddock and the Main Building. There are also bathrooms available in the main building. Porta-johns are available around the site.

d) No batteries, tires, or fluids are to be dumped at the facility.

e) The speed limit on all Park property is 10 mph.

f) The paddock will be open for entry at 5 PM on Friday, or earlier at the discretion of NCCAR.

g) Any SCCA member arriving at the track after registration closes on Friday evening may be allowed to enter the track upon signing an NCCAR Track waiver, and at the discretion of the NCCAR Security Guard.  Any individual entering in this manner must return to Registration on Saturday morning before being allowed to participate in any part of the event.

h) Driver or crew not properly SCCA registered will be ejected from the track without refund.

g) There is free Wi-Fi available on-site.

6. RUN DIRECTION: Both days will be run in the counterclockwise direction. Since we are running counterclockwise, the grid will be at the track entrance closest to the paddock. Because of this, please remember when you are heading to the grid that you will need to remove excess gravel from your tires by turning right out of the paddock and proceeding to the gate building to do a U-turn and return to the gridding area. This will ensure that most, if not all, gravel is removed from tires and not carried onto the track surface.
